Stretch! Just something as simple as stretching your muscles each day, aside from a good workout, keeps you in check with posture, body and mind. Take a few moments each day or a bit of time to stretch it out 🙂

Try at least one new food a week… I find that it challenges me to search for new recipes I never would have made otherwise. Not all are winners, of course, but some definitely are! Plus, when you see that food on menus and no one knows what it is, you can be all show-offy and stuff, And some people say eating whole is boring! 😉

  3. Rachel says:

Try to incorporate each food group into every meal for 7 days!

Eat 5 small meals a day, as opposed to 3 larger meals!

I have always wanted to try juicing! All of my friends have seen great results!

Personally, I used lent this year to eat healthier… I am catholic, and during the 40 days of lent, believers sacrifice something they love in remembrance of Jesus’s 40 days in the desert. I have a chocolate obsession, so I gave up chocolate for lent, and use it as my motivation to be a better christian and healthier! It only take 21 times to make a habit, and I have been clean for 35 days as of today!

Live a more wholistic lifestyle starting with more blended recipes using fruit and vegetable! When I have a sweet tooth I get to thinking what can I make in a blender? My last creation included ice, hemp milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips and a banana. 🙂

Great suggestions above, especially stretching. My idea would be to eat a healthy food that starts with each letter of the Alphabet from A to Z.

PS. Found this giveaway thru Slimkicks 🙂

  6. Jess says:

I work a 9-6 job and commute an hour each way so I’m sitting a lot. My co-worker and I are going to start to take several 15 minute breaks to do dance work outs in the stairway throughout the day. Not only do will we feel better from the exercise but we get to have some fun at work! For healthy food I’m going to trade my morning coffee with tea and drink more raw juices and water throughout the day instead of snacking on chips and candy!

  7. Sarah says:

Pick the furthest away park you can walk to with a friend and bring a picnic. Pack fun healthy alternatives to your favorite snacks. You’ll be rewarded at the end of your walk with a fun picnic and you’ll have the opportunity to rest for the return walk. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
