I can’t find organic, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly crackers nor a recipe that pertained to my taste buds! So I dove head first and created this delicious yet simple recipe. Now that I know how easy baking delicious crackers is, I’ll never buy an overpriced box again. You can toss in dried fruit or nuts or play with different spices. The flavor combinations truly are endless!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Cups flax meal
- 1/2 Cup warm water
- 1/4 Cup organic gluten-free tamari sauce
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic flakes
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium-sized mixing bowl add all of your ingredients.

- Lay a piece of parchment paper on your baking sheet and add your cracker mix on top. Top with a piece of wax paper and roll flat until your mixture is 1/8 inch thick.

Score your crackers (I used a pizza cutter).
- Pop in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until darkened. Break apart your cracker pieces (they’ll come apart easily).

- They’re delicious on their own, dipped into creamy homemade ranch dressing (2 allergy-friendly alternate recipes), or your favorite dip!
-
Enjoy eating whole!

You may freeze leftovers in a freezer bag & eat them as-needed!
