Sweet and Salty Pretzel Pie Crust

Ingredients (makes 1 9-inch pie crust):

  • 2 Cups gluten-free pretzels, such as Glutino Pretzels
  • 1 Cup pitted medijool dates (about 12)


  1. In your food processor add your pretzels and dates.  Pulse until your dates are fully chopped and mixed into your pretzel crumbs and stick together.pretzel crust
  2. Add your mixture to a greased pie plate (coconut oil works great!).  Using a glass (I used my measuring cup) press down and flatten your crust to your pie plate in a circular motion, pressing the crust all the way up the sides.pretzel crust
  3. Add in your favorite filling, such as banana cream pie, my Purple Passion Cheesecake, a nut butter pie, or anything your creative mind can think up!  This crust is superb with my Lime No-Bake Cheesecake!lime no bake cheesecake
